Course objectives

At the end of this course, students will be able to acquire the following skills and knowledge:

- Enriching students' dictionary and their vocabulary in two languages (English-Arabic).

- Enabling students to identify legal texts written in English.

- Students' knowledge of English Legal Terminology related to the concept of Public Law and the concept of Private Law, including their ability to differentiate between them, while also taking into account the identification of the most important branches of law: Public /Private.

- Enable students to understand the English Legal Terminology relevant to the concept of Private Law, Civil Law, Contract Law, Liability Law and their relationship with other branches of law, taking into account also enabling students to master the most important legal terminology in English common in the field of Contractual Liability, Private Property and Corporate Law.

 - Enable students to understand the most important abbreviated Legal Terms in the field of Private Law, and how to employ these abbreviations in the understanding and translation of specialized legal texts, as well as to enable students to know the institutional framework (International and National Bodies/ Institutions /Organizations) relevant to this branch of law.

 - Enabling students to master the employment of Procedural Legal Terminology, including specialized legal terminology acquired in the field of Private Law, and using them in translating specialized legal texts (Arabic-English/English-Arabic) in their field of specialty, especially: Contract Law, Firms Law, Liability Contract and Compensation for Harms.  

 - Enable students to understand the Algerian Judicial Organization and the duality of the judicial system, with their understanding of the most important procedural aspects related to Civil, Administrative and Penal cases in National Law.

أهداف المقياس

في نهاية هذه المحاضرات سيتمكن الطلاب من إكتساب المؤهلات والمعارف التالية:

- إثراء قاموس الطلاب ومفرداتهم القانونية بلغتين (إنجليزية- عربية).

- تمكين الطلاب من التعرف على المستندات القانونية المكتوبة باللغة الإنجليزية.

- إلمام ودراية الطلاب بالمصطلحات القانونية الإنجليزية ذات الصلة بمفهوم القانون العام ومفهوم القانون الخاص، بما في ذلك  تمكنهم من التفريق بينهما، مع الأخذ في الاعتبارأيضًا الإحاطة بأهم فروع القانون: عام/ خاص.

- جعل الطلاب على دراية بالمصطلحات القانونية الإنجليزية ذات الصلة بمفهوم القانون الخاص وقانون العقود وقانون المسؤولية وعلاقتهما بباقي الفروع الأخرى من القانون، مع الأخذ في الإعتبار أيضا تمكين الطلاب من الإحاطة بأهم المصطلحات القانونية باللغة الإنجليزية الشائعة في ميدان المسؤولية التعاقدية والملكية الخاصة وقانون الشركات.

- تمكين الطلاب من فهم أهم المصطلحات القانونية المختصرة في مجال القانون الخاص، مع كيفية توظيف هذه المختصرات في فهم وترجمة النصوص القانونية المتخصصة، فضلاً على جعل الطلاب على دراية بالإطار المؤسساتي (هيئات/ منظمات دولية ووطنية) ذات الصلة بهذا الفرع من القانون.     

- تمكين الطلاب من إجادة توظيف المصطلحات القانونية الإجرائية وكذا المصطلحات القانونية المتخصصة المكتسبة في ميدان  القانون الخاص المعمق، واستعمالها في ترجمة نصوص قانونية متخصصة ( عربية- إنجليزية/ إنجليزية- عربية) في مجال تخصصهم، لاسيما فيما يتعلق: بقانون العقود والشركات والمسؤولية التعاقدية والتعويض عن الضرر.

- تمكين الطلاب من فهم التنظيم القضائي الجزائري وإزدواجية النظام القضائي، مع إحاطتهم بأهم الجوانب الإجرائية ذات الصلة بالدعاوى المدنية والإدارية والجزائية في القانون الوطني.
