"Literary Texts" course, which is intended for 1^st year LMD students, introduces learners to the world of literature. The course allows students to be familiarized with notions and terminologies that are indispensably needed for the textual analysis of any literary text. The course will cover the major elements of the three literary genres: prose, poetry, and drama; in addition to presenting different literary texts that are from different backgrounds. The course’s highlights comprise reading texts, understanding them, and textually analyzing them.
