Department: Common lessons in natural and life sciences

The target audience: First-year students in natural and life sciences

Description

The language skills of written and oral expression are a daily need in our social and professional life, especially in studies, and to do this, written expression and communication techniques are necessary. Students need to be able to "speak," "read," "write,"  and "listen," according to the program's capabilities. All of these skills require students to create independent written or oral productions to be constructed and evaluated. This educational course, the purpose is to help students grasp the fundamental concepts of the English language, which is now an indispensable part of both the university curriculum and the working world, by synthesizing and simplifying the knowledge imparted to them in the various first-year courses.

At the end of this course, the student will be able to:

  • To study and understand text using various skills
  • To create independent written or oral productions to be constructed and evaluated
  • To express and communicate in a group.
