Sources of law in Algeria:

In Algeria ,formal sources, according to the first article of Algerian civil code, are :legislation, , generalprinciples of islamiclaw, custom, Natural law and the rules of Equity.

Legislationis the principal source in Algeria ; the other sources come after in the absence of legislation.

The infarmal sources of  law in Algeria are : case law and doctrine.

فيالجزائر، فإن مصادر القانون الرسمية حسب المادة الأولى من القانون المدني الجزائري هي: التشريع، المبادئ العامة للشريعة الإسلامية، العرف،قانون الطبيعة و قواعد العدالة.

التشريع هو المصدر الرئيسي في الجزائر، المصادر الأخرى تأتي في حالة غياب التشريع.
