MATLAB is an interactive system which has many advantages compared to conventional computer languages (e.g., C, FORTRAN) for solving technical
problems (graphical interface, built-in functions, powerful toolboxes . . . ). The software package has been commercially available since 1984 and is now considered as a standard tool at most universities and industries worldwide.
The lecture aims to:
- Outline and memorize basic Matlab commands
- Summarise basic Matlab variables type
- Employ Matlab commands and variables for numerical calculation
- Construct Matlab scripts to solve Physics problems
- Interpret and evaluate data using Matlab Data Statistics toolbox
This lecture is destined to undergraduate physicist and can be also useful for other science and technology student.
